Paramore has announced a short spring tour in support of last year’s brand new eyes. Relient K and fun. will open all dates on the trek, which starts in Knoxville on April 26 and winds up in Las Vegas on May 16. The tour includes Paramore’s headlining slot at the Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford, NJ on May 1.

Michael Jackson‘s children are expected to participate in an event honoring their father at the Grammys this weekend. Jackson will be cited with a Lifetime Achievement Award and Prince and Paris Jackson will reportedly accept the award on his behalf, according to CNN.

A new documentary is set to be released profiling Depeche Mode‘s rabid fan base. Titled The Posters Came From The Walls, the film screens this weekend at the Cinefamily in L.A. and includes an appearance from Trent Reznor, discussing Depeche Mode’s influence on Nine Inch Nails.

My Morning Jacket has announced a short tour of the U.S. for April and May. The trek begins in Birmingham, AL on April 20 and winds up in Columbus, OH on May 2, with their set at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival set for April 24.

Alternative Press reports that Rancid‘s Tim Armstrong is part of a new web series with director John Roecker titled Svengali, inspired by 1970s detective shows. The pair will star in the series, with Roecker playing the titular character and Armstrong as “the evil professor.” You can watch a trailer at svengaliworld.com.

Funk legend Sly Stone is suing his former manager Jerry Goldstein, accusing him of fraud, breach of contract and inaccurate accounting procedures. The suit asks for royalty companies to determine what Stone is actually owed, estimated to be between $20-30 million.
